January and February are going to be pretty hectic for us at Flagship. Not only have we got January exams to sit, we also have a number of gigs lined up for February. The first of these is a charity gig at Reepham High School in aid of Brain Tumor Research, prices aren't finalised yet but it all kicks off at 7pm and ends at 9. We'll be playing a 45 minute slot, our longest yet, with a mix of original material and covers. Then onto the 11th, where we're returning to the Brickmakers stage for another open mic session. 20-15 minutes of pure Flagship tunes, it's gonna be good. We have a number of new songs in the works, so exciting stuff there!

Big news comes in the form of Craig Hill, manager of The Kabeedies, These Ghosts, and influencial name in the Norwich music scene. We are currently working with Craig towards putting on our first traditional gig. We're currently looking for a number of bands to fill the setlist, and then we'll be able to find a date and rock the B2! Hope to see all our die-hard, loyal, amazing fans down there!

In other news, we have a logo being created by my lovely cousin Natalie, an illustration and animation student at Kingston University. That logo is gonna be used on everything, so it'd better be amazing! But I have all the faith in the world she won't let us down! We will also be looking around for some good photographers to take some arty snaps of the band, so if you're interested get in contact!

So that wraps things up for the moment! Follow us on twitter and facebook if you see this and aren't already, try come along to our gigs, and happy start to the new year!

Jake
